First Annual Eat S.E.A. Food

This year, GISAU 2008/09 made history.

For the very first time in UBC history, the Gado-Gado Indonesian Students' Association had joined forces with the Kababayan Filipino Students' Association, Seri Malaysia Club, Singapore Raffles Club, Thai Aiyara Club and Vietnamese Students' Society and held the First Annual Eat S.E.A. Food on Tuesday, November 25, 2008. With 300 tickets sold out and a packed venue at Abdul Ladha Science Students' Centre, this event was a HUGE success.

On behalf of the executive team and the organizing committee, I would like to thank all of you who came out and supported the First Annual Eat S.E.A. Food. We hope that this event would become a precursor to further co-operation between cultural clubs at UBC. We look forward to seeing you again next year!

Sincerely,

Joanna Octavia
GISAU President

Penn donates a portion of sales from each can of pink tennis balls to breast cancer research. We are using these pink Penn tennis balls for the GISAU Grand Slam! What's better than playing with pink balls all while helping the fight against breast cancer?
